About White Horizon

White Horizon is a minimalist endless runner set against a stark white landscape where your auto-running character dodges obstacles that emerge from the blank horizon. The visual simplicity is deliberate - with nothing to distract, every obstacle is readable, and deaths come from reaction failure rather than visual confusion.

The controls are one or two buttons. Jump, maybe dash, that's it. What varies is the obstacle pacing and the speed at which the world scrolls. Early sections let you react; later sections demand you've internalized the rhythm because the horizon spawns obstacles faster than conscious reaction can process.

The aesthetic is the draw as much as the gameplay. The white-on-white with subtle shadow work gives it a clean, almost meditative feel that contrasts with the tension of precision dodging. It's the kind of runner you sink into for the flow state.

Distance is the score, and the procedural generation ensures no two runs are identical. The retry is instant, the deaths are fair (you always see what killed you), and pushing your best distance is the hook.

How to Play

Tap (click, spacebar, or screen tap) to jump. Your character auto-runs forward through the white landscape.

Time jumps to clear obstacles emerging from the horizon. Spikes, gaps, and barriers require precise jump timing.

Use dash if available for a quick burst forward or to clear specific obstacle types. Dash has its own timing window separate from jumps.

Survive as speed escalates. The world scrolls faster over time, tightening reaction windows until the tempo overwhelms you.

Pro Tips

Focus on the horizon, not your character. Obstacles emerge from the distance - reading them early gives maximum reaction time.

Tap to a rhythm if the level has one. Many runner sections sync obstacle spacing to a beat; internalizing it makes timing natural.

Use the retry loop. Deaths are instant and fair - learn obstacle sequences through repetition rather than trying to sight-read hard sections.

Stay calm during speed-up sections. Panic tapping mistimes jumps that composure lands. Deliberate inputs outperform frantic ones.
